--- DELIVERY/INSTALL DATE FOR ALL WINDOWS EXCEPT THE LARGE ONES ---

It would be great to get some status update on the delivery/install date for the windows that we've already signed off on.  We paid an initial deposit of £8981 Jun 27 and we signed off on those windows
(with all corrections, etc) finally Jul 10th.   I believe we were told
the 6 - 8 week count started from our sign-off date.  8 weeks from Jul 10th would bring us in to 28 Aug.

Can we look forward to windows arriving this coming Tuesday 28th?

If not, can you please let us know when?

If only some are available initially, the expedited windows we'd like to see first are listed in order here:

1) new window we're putting in facing east from current tv room at top of rear extension W18
2) 3 north bay windows in Jake's bedroom  W12 W13 W14
3) 2 north windows in Sam's bedroom W10 W11
4) new, smaller bathroom window facing east for bathroom next to current tv room W19
5) south window in current tv room at top of rear extension W17
6) south window in current temp kitchen on first floor W9
7) south windows for current master bedroom and bath W15 W16
8) east window for bathroom next to current temp kitchen on first floor W8

As spoken on the phone, by Tuesday i will have more information about exact delivery date. As promised I will do my best to inform and keep you up to date if and when we will receive windows here in UK.

--- QUOTE FOR INSTALLATION ---

I note from our contract that delivery was included in the price we have agreed to.

However, I've searched though my gmail and haven't found any price quote from Damian for the installation.  So we're still waiting on that.  Can you send through the install price quote?

Quote for installation is to Damian to confirm - Damian please do that;

--- BIG WINDOWS ---

I'll let you confirm your own measurements for the dimensions, however mine are:

Height from concrete to top steel: 4610mm But note will have 140mm Celotex insulation then 100mm screed So more like total opening height: 4370mm Width at bottom: 3010mm

As we discussed, you will let us know the height of the base of the sliding doors (60mm?) so that we can build a concrete base 50mm (?) below the finished floor height.
Dimensions of big windows - as spoken with Damian, on Tuesday morning he will come to the office and solve this size and exact construction as requested.

So if e.g. 50mm that means actual opening dimension will be 4420mm.
(can you confirm?) will confirm on tuesday

Obviously as we were discussing, the big windows will likely arrive later than the rest of the windows, as you've only just now been able to take measurements. Yes, that’s correct – will ask how long it will take them to do this window.

As mentioned in emails with Alex, we would also like to add a new window to the order, also to go in the reception, on the side of the house, with an opening dimension of 500mm width x 2000mm height, fixed panel double glazed safety glass. Will order this window and will arrive with the big window

From our discussions with Ekrem, we now know that you will need to provide us with sills 180mm (please confirm?) in length out from the window, that will need to be installed with a little bit of wood under them for support, so that Ekrem's team can come later to install foam insulation around and under the windows. Ok will order cills aluminium 180mm painted as external part of the windows, wider than each window 50mm which is RAL7024-more grey-sh than black

We agreed that these sills will be wider than the width of the window openings, e.g. about 50mm (confirm?) on each side and match the external finish of the window frames (which I believe is matt black).

We've also established that Ekrem will need to finish up with his external insulation and we'll need to remove all scaffolding before you can come in with the big windows -- Ekrem will install a mobile tower to finish rendering around the big window once you're finished.

We noted that the kichen bay windows will also need to wait for scaffolding removal before they can be installed because the scaffolding was placed too close.
OK, this window will be install as latest.

Please let me know if I've missed anything,
I will speak with Damian on Tuesday – and we will go through this once more, to sum everything and to make you satisfy.

Thank you.
Alex

Regards,
Michael
